What a day! I started my morning off right... with a bowl of steel cut oats, maple syrup, pumpkin seeds and pumpkin pie spices and a iced latte (of course). One of my students gave me a Pixie Tangerine... it was TINY. It was about one inch in diameter. Apparently they are only in season for one month... unfortunately that month is now over. For a mid-morning and afternoon snack I munched on some carrot chips.
For recess my students played on the schools roof top play area. I was enjoying the fresh air and sun when what do I see...
THREE RED-TAILED HAWKS flying by. I was so excited and I got most of the children to watch them for a few minutes. They flew north and we watched them fly high and circle around. I think I was more excited then the kids!
